Shipping policy
Shipping Policy:
- Orders will be shipped within a 3-5 day window, with an email notifying you that it is now in transit.
- If you have purchased tracked shipping, you will receive a tracking number along with this email.
- Shipping fees are calculated during the checkout process.

International customers must pay any Duties, Custom Fees, or taxes upon delivery (where applicable).
- Parcels are sent with either Canada Post, Fedex or UPS, at our discretion.
- Items that are pre-ordered will only be shipped once all pre-ordered products are available.
- Plain white envelopes, top loaders and sealed sleeve bags are used for standard shipping.
- Customers are welcome to purchase bubble mailers at their discretion.
- Customers are welcome to purchase a tracked delivery and insurance at their discretion.
- We are not responsible for any orders lost with the standard mail option.
- If an order is lost in transit after purchasing tracked shipping and insurance, the order will be refunded and compensated.
If you have any questions or concerns about shipping, or to notify us about a potential lost package, please contact us via email at info@thesidedeck.ca and make sure you include the order number (#TSDxxxx) and reason for your email in its subject.
In Store Pickup Policy:
- Orders placed via the In-Store Pickup option may take up to 3 business days to fulfill.
- If you have placed an order for pickup, please do not expect to pick it up until you have received a pickup notification email, it will not be ready.
- If more than 3 business days has passed and you have not received a notification, please contact us. (Please check your spam and/or junk folders as it may have been filtered)
- You will need to bring a real Photo ID and/or the order number for pickup. Failure to do so will force us to decline delivering the order to you in store. There are no exceptions.
