About Us

The Side Deck started out of a home office in South Carolina back in 2015. One of our owners, David, started taking his daughter, Haley, to a local store for tournaments. This led to David and Haley eventually travelling to Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series events, where they would Judge! Here, they met the eventual owner of the Canadian-affiliate version of The Side Deck. 

A decade later, The Side Deck now has 3 locations - two in the Columbia-area of South Carolina, and one in Montreal, QC, Canada. The Side Deck also has two Event Management companies which run multiple Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series and Regional Qualifiers across North America.
